Meet Chris

Originally from Port Townsend, Washington, Chris Brady has spent the past decade and a half exploring the American West and practicing his craft as a builder. Raised beside the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Chris grew up in a family of talented builders, beginning with his father who operated a softwoods mill, supplying the finest northwest timbers to the wooden boat industry. Chris worked at the mill from a young age, where he learned to read wood for species, strength, quality, and purpose. As an artist, wood has been his medium. As a craftsman, beauty and durability have been his goals.

Chris’s work spans the West, a landscape that has been his inspiration. From the start, Chris stamped his mark on the Puget Sound region. He has worked with clients on properties from the Yellowstone Basin to Northern California, from the deserts of Utah to the wild and scenic McKenzie River of Oregon. In every location, Chris’s work reflects the character of the place and the clients with whom he works.

As a builder, Chris values integrity in both product and process. He is attentive and swift, while conscientious of each client’s needs and investment. Chris Brady Custom specializes in project management for both new construction and custom renovations, with a focus on energy efficiency and quality craftsmanship. Chris enjoys working with clients to realize their visions effectively and affordably. After having traveled and worked throughout the West, Chris has moved back to his home state of Washington where he will continue his craft, one project at a time. He is excited to bring his skills and vision back to the Evergreen State. He looks forward to working with you on your next project.

Craftsmanship. Quality. Integrity.
